"Jessica along with the Blizzard WoTLK Gold leadership team will be responsible for advancing and implementing our culture strategy as well as ensuring alignment across all teams and functions in addition to reorganizing the program for developing and enhancing talent," the company said in an announcement.

Martinez said in her own statement "When you create a "people first" place where teams feel at ease loved and appreciated and work together toward a shared purpose everybody benefits-the employees those who play, and of course the business."

Martinez will collaborate on behalf of Blizzard's communications and events, and the leaders of the franchise teams. "Making the value of our connections visible in everything we do is the best way to bring human values back into the workplace," Martinez said.

The hiring of Martinez will come at a very turbulent moment for Blizzard and its parent company Activision Blizzard. Over the past year the company has been making headlines with regard to various problems with workplace culture. At Blizzard specifically it was reported that the company had fired multiple developers and directors, including World of Warcraft 's director.

In the past, Blizzard president J. Allen Brack stepped down in 2021 because of the state of California lawsuit that claims a widespread culture of harassment and discrimination within Activision Blizzard. One of his replacements, Jen Oneal, left her post as vice-president in only three months. it was later revealed she was not offered equal salary until she resigned.

Martinez and the rest of Activision cheap WoTLK Classic Gold Blizzard employees are expected to soon be Microsoft employees due to the Xbox firm's $7 billion takeover of Activision Blizzard.
